Child Safety Standards

MuslimahFirst is an adults-only Muslim marriage application (18+) and is fully committed to the safety and protection of children. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any content that sexualises a person under 18.

Age requirement (18+ only)

MuslimahFirst is strictly for users aged 18 and over. Every user must confirm they are 18 or older at registration, and our store listing and content rating restrict the app to adults. We terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor.

Prohibition of CSAE content

Any content or behaviour that sexually exploits or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement.

Reporting mechanisms

Users can report a profile or message at any time using the in-app Report button (six report categories, including "fake profiles" and "underage users"). Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. You can also report a child-safety concern by email:

Moderation & verification

Profiles go through verification before appearing in discovery, photos are hidden until a mutual match, and our moderation team reviews flagged content. Accounts operated by, or targeting, minors are banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

Compliance

MuslimahFirst complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations and with Google Play's child safety standards policy. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigating child exploitation.
